In a press release, the developer’s co-founder Ted Staloch said, “We’ve spent the past several years assembling the very best talent from across the industry to deliver a modern vision of this timeless Star Wars legend.” That corroborates that they’re early in development, but the project has been in the pre-production phase for quite some time. In a PS Blog post, Lead Producer Ryan Treadwell says that the team is “still early in development” but also told that development has been active “for a little while.” It sure seems like it’ll be several years before the game is released.
